This notice covers the Digital Studio homepage and information pages. It describes website delivery, language selection and contact by email.
Website delivery and security
Cloudflare delivers this website. Visits involve processing connection data such as your IP address, requested address, time and browser information. This delivers the content and protects against faults and misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, with the legitimate interest of secure, reliable operation. The application does not maintain its own permanent visitor logs.
Cloudflare and international processing
The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Processing outside the European Economic Area, including the USA, is possible. Cloudflare’s data processing terms explain transfer safeguards, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Your language preference
By default, the language follows your browser settings. Only when you manually select PL, DE or EN do we store that choice in the “an_lang” cookie and “arturnowis.language” local storage, each valid for 180 days. Expired local storage is ignored and removed on your next visit. “Auto” removes both entries. They are not used for advertising or tracking. Storage provides the language memory function you request (section 25(2)(2) TDDDG). Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, with the interest of displaying the website in your chosen language.
Email enquiries
The contact link opens your email app. Only after you send a message do we receive your email address, message and any other details you choose to provide. We use them to answer your enquiry. Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies to contract enquiries; otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies, with the interest of handling correspondence. Providing details is voluntary, but we need contact information to reply.
Email service
Email for the domain is routed to Apple iCloud Mail. For EU users the service is provided by Apple Distribution International Ltd., Hollyhill Industrial Estate, Hollyhill, Cork, Ireland. Apple processes data needed for the mail service. Processing outside the EEA is possible. Apple’s privacy policy describes safeguards, including standard contractual clauses.
Retention
Technical data is processed for as long as delivery and security require. A security incident may require further processing for investigation or legal claims. Correspondence is kept for as long as handling the enquiry, documenting a contract, legal obligations or protecting claims requires. Data is then deleted unless there is a further basis for retention.
Your rights
Under the conditions in the GDPR, you can request access, correction, deletion, restricted processing and, where applicable, data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Contact hello@arturnowis.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, particularly LDA Brandenburg. We do not make automated decisions or profile visitors on these pages.
No advertising analytics
The pages covered here do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels, embedded social media or a contact form that sends messages. Fonts and images are loaded from the same domain.
